Our Story
Krystle and Andrew met by chance during one of Andrew's sales calls. Krystle was working reception at TA Appliance in Kitchener, ON. Over the course of three or four years we spoke often getting to know each other a little more each time. Finally Krystle decided to ask Andrew out on a date. Krystle was unsure about asking because some of her co-workers at the appliance store had convinced her he was already married. Not the case! Later that week we went on our first date, dinner and movie....
Our first date...Andrew's version
After Krystle had asked me to call her I was on the hook to come up with something to do on our first date. Although we had spoken numerous times over the past few years I still wasn't sure what Krystle liked doing. I really wanted to make a good impression on Krystle so I thought dinner and a movie was a good choice.
I picked Krystle up and took her out to Moose Winooski's which is a local patio bar in Kitchener. It was August so it was still nice and warm. We had dinner and a drink or two on the patio before heading off to a movie.
The movie was Talledaga Nights: The legend of Ricky Bobby. Not the best first date movie I know. However I was in luck as I found out after the date Krystle and her parents were really big fans of Nascar racing, which the whole movie was about. I had a really great time and to my surprise the movie was a big hit!
