"That’s hilarious!"

Sure, your cake should make your guests smile. But laugh? Not so much. Be sure to run your cake through several human spell-checkers before leaving the bakery.

"Is it someone’s birthday?"

Would it have killed this couple to put something even remotely wedding-related on the cake? As it is, that wacky design and rainbow palette look more suited for Bob’s Barn Birthday than a formal wedding reception. You’ve got to hand it to those rose petals, though: they’re totally selling it. They are a desperate attempt to proclaim, "Hey, would a birthday cake have rose petals around it? I don’t THINK so! Wedding cake ALL the way!"

Good point, petals. Good point.
